Presidential candidate for NDC, john MAHAMA explains his reasons for not involving celebrity in this years campaign.
the former president in an interview Tuesday morning on STARR FM, in a response to a follow up question asked by the host Francis Abban, about the value he thinks of if there is any value for him to get endorsement from the musician.
John Mahama believes the antipathy or strong dislike approach towards celebrity by their fans anytime they endorse a political party shouldn’t be a way to go. the political society don’t understand that. therefore he tried as much as possible not to involve them this time around, it leads to destruction of their career when they are involved.
I don’t have any anger against anybody who endorses Nana Addo, i like samini and sarkodie , they talented musician, my attitude towards them doesn’t change. i like samini’s linda, he must have his reasons for the endorsement, I didn’t want to get them involved to affect their career. people will misinterpret them, and think that because they support you, we won’t buy their music. he added.
