Ghanaian born Top UK Rapper Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr. Popularly known as Stormzy is back to the motherland for the Christmas holidays. The multiple award winning rapper has decided to jump on the “sore” rmx to support the Ghanaian drill music which is making waves in Ghana, African and the world. Stormzy joined Yaw tog to perform the rmx of “sore” which makes his first time performing in Ghana.
Stormzy known for standing up for blacks issued a statement via his label, that he plans to donate £1 million a year for 10 years to charities, organisations and movements that are committed to fight racial inequality, justice reform and black empowerment in the United Kingdom.
Stormzy has funded the ‘Stormzy Scholarship for Black UK Students’ at the University of Cambridge which covers tuition costs for two students and maintenance grants for up to four years. He had previously approached the University of Oxford who “didn’t want to get involved”, according to him.
